“They fought and bled and died so that America would forever remain safe and strong and free.”
Our History
Connecting Generations, founded in 2009, stands at the forefront of educational field-based learning, dedicated to bridging the gap between American youth and the last surviving heroes of World War II. By facilitating meaningful interactions and fostering relationships with these extraordinary veterans, the organization provides young individuals with the unique opportunity to replicate the courage and commitment exemplified by these heroes. Through immersive experiences that honor their sacrifices, Connecting Generations not only cultivates a deep appreciation for history but also empowers a new generation to embody the values of bravery, resilience, and service. Our programs are entirely free of charge for students.
In an era where the values of faith and patriotism can sometimes feel overshadowed, Connecting Generations reaffirms its commitment to fostering these principles through its impactful WWII travel program. This initiative offers youth transformative opportunities to engage directly with the legacies of our veterans, allowing them to understand and appreciate the sacrifices made for their freedoms. By immersing young participants in the rich history of World War II and its enduring impact on our nation, Connecting Generations not only honors the courage and dedication of those who served but also inspires a new generation to embrace these foundational ideals to carry forward the values that have shaped our country.
