“Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women of World War II can never be repaid.”
- Harry S. TRUMAN
OUR MISSION
We enrich the lives of children through immersive, intergenerational journeys that inspire education, spark patriotism, and cultivate hope. By connecting young minds with the stories and sacrifices of those who came before them, we empower future leaders through real-world learning and global enrichment.

OUR VISION
A world where every child gains a deeper understanding of history, patriotism, and purpose through meaningful connections across generations—becoming inspired, educated, and hopeful stewards of the future.
Our Core Values
-
Culture
By providing students with diverse learning experiences—such as exploring historical events, artistic expressions, and societal narratives—they gain the opportunity to immerse themselves in the richness of various cultures and perspectives. This approach not only broadens their horizons but also cultivates a profound appreciation for our shared humanity, particularly in the context of the monumental sacrifices made by World War II veterans.
-
Adventure
Adventure-based learning serves as a cornerstone of the Connecting Generations program, providing youth with invaluable opportunities for personal development through engaging physical activities and outdoor challenges. By immersing themselves in these dynamic experiences, participants cultivate crucial life skills such as teamwork, perseverance, and courage, all of which are instrumental in shaping their character.
-
Resilience
Resilience equips students with the essential skills needed to navigate life's challenges, enabling them to recover from setbacks, glean valuable lessons from their mistakes, and maintain perseverance when faced with obstacles. By cultivating this vital attribute, educators not only promote a growth mindset but also enhance students' coping strategies and bolster their self-efficacy for lasting personal development and a lifelong commitment to learning.
-
Patriotism
At the heart of our mission lies a profound appreciation for the significance of patriotism during World War II. Veterans often display a strong sense of patriotism, rooted in their commitment and service to the nation. This patriotism manifests in various ways, from a deep respect for the country’s values and principles to an unwavering dedication to its wellbeing, instilling in youth a strong love for their country as they follow in the footsteps of heroes.
“Veterans know better than anyone else the price of freedom, for they've suffered the scars of war.”
— Ronald Reagan

Mentorship
The mentorship component of our travel program is fundamental to our mission, providing robust support for the personal and professional development of participants. This initiative pairs younger veterans from the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan with seasoned veterans who share similar experiences from World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Through these connections, participants gain guidance to address and overcome challenges in their personal and professional lives. The program also equips them with essential skills, such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and intercultural communication, which are crucial for their future education, careers, and transition from active military service to civilian life. Ultimately, it fosters enduring relationships and builds a supportive network of alumni to sustain veterans throughout their ongoing journeys.
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
— Nelson Mandela
